We Do PHP

Adam Roberts wanted another logo, this time he was creating a community job based portal similar to other job boards out there but catering solely for PHP Developers.

Adam gave me a blank canvas to work with. His only goal was that it should reference the community aspect of the portal.

I sent out the questionnaire that I always send out at the begging of a project to get some information to use in the design.

After drawing up some versions in the sketchbook I had a good solid idea that I thought represented the goals and needs of the logo/brand. I moved in to Adobe Illustrator and started to draft the logo up.

After the first version was send to Adam he expressed that he really like the idea and the mark but he decided that the font choice was not working.

So with this information at hand I made a type-sheet out in Adobe Illustrator with three rows of six different font choices. I then presented this to Adam and we decided on the final font.
